This is very werd. I updated a Domino server to version 8 and everything functions normally, except that the Quickplace tools that were there can no longer be reached. As far as I can see, all the data files relating to Quickplace are in place - for example /quickplace/main.nsf but when I try to call the usual startup web page mapped to:
http://server.domain/QuickPlace/quickplace/Main.nsf/h_Toc/4df38292d748069d0525670800167212/?OpenDocument

which hasn't altered as far as I can see, I get the error:

Error 404
HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - Special database object cannot be located

Has installing Domino 8 on a formerly flawless system had some bad effect on the underlying QuickPlace system - or has a file been corrupted somehow and is the Domino 8.0 upgrade simply a coincidence rather than a cause.

If I install Quickr on this server, will the old Quickplace settings and databases still be respected and work properly?
